Art Adventures
A series of art workshops looking at mediums & techniques in more detail in a fun relaxed environment.
Each class is 2.5 - 3 hours long, which gives us more time to complete a painting in a session & includes all materials & refreshments; you just need to bring an A3 Sketch pad.
Venue: Congregational Hall, 20 Cromer Road, North Walsham, NR28 0HD
Sessions will run from 10:30 am to 1pm @ £25.00 or 1 – 4pm @ £30 per session as stated below.
(Payment can be made in advance for each block or split into ‘bite-size’ chunks)

Drawing from ordinary to extraordinary!
16/1, 23/1, 30/1, 6/2, 13/2 - 10.30am to 1.00pm

Together we will explore and practice using different drawing tools including pencils, charcoal, pens and ink.
Through a variety of subjects we will look at rules, when to follow them and when to break them!
‘Practice, Paint & Play’ – Watercolour and Inks
27/2, 6/3, 13/3, 20/3, 27/3 - 1 to 4pm
5-weeks course fee £150.00
We will look at the process to using watercolours and the various forms of this medium available on the market.
We will explore and discus when to use watercolour and when to use ink to give us the right results for our chosen subject.
We will also explore some ink illustration work.

‘Practice, Paint & Play’ - Little to Large – Acrylics
24/4, 1/5, 8/5, 15/5, 22/5 - 1 to 4pm
5-weeks course fee £150.00
We will look at various way and techniques to using this versatile medium through a series of projects. We will go from miniature to large 2D to 3D, creating a body of work in this medium.

On this course we will take our inspiration from famous paintings and artists to create our own version basing our composition on one object - should be fun!

Looking at various methods of using this traditional paint medium we will create a series of paintings based on a variety of subjects.

We will explore the wide range of pastel products on the market; working with both oil and soft pastel mediums. We will create a body of work on chosen favorites in a variety of subjects.
